1 of 4 Toyota guides have all four core fields filled in (box location, fuse type, a switched slot and a constant slot). A filled-in field is still community-sourced and not verified. Slot counts are candidates only. Fuse layouts differ by model year, trim and market, so confirm which fuse box and which slot on your own vehicle.
Vehicle guides
Toyota HiAce (300 Series, 2019+)
We only have fuse names. Physical location and slot numbers are unknown, so use this as a shopping list of labels to hunt for with a meter.
Toyota HiLux (8th gen, 2015+)
Cabin fuse panels sit behind the glovebox, and owners say there are empty ignition-powered slots at the far left. We have fuse names but no confirmed slot numbers.
Toyota LandCruiser 79 Series (2009-2014 data)
AU table gives an ACC fuse (#10) and a cigarette-lighter fuse (#7), plus DOME #2 as a constant candidate, in the cabin box under the dash.
Toyota RAV4 Hybrid (XA50, 2019+)
Passenger footwell fuse box: RADIO (15A) for constant and P/OUTLET NO.1 (15A) for ACC, using low-profile Mini taps. A Japanese install guide's pick, so meter it.
Before you tap any fuse
Whatever the make, the method is the same: find the cabin fuse box, then use a multimeter or test light to confirm each candidate before you fit a fuse tap. A constant slot reads 12V with the ignition off, and a switched (ACC) slot reads 0V off and 12V on. Never tap an airbag, immobiliser, hybrid-system or other safety-related circuit.
