Ford dashcam and tracker hardwire fuse guides (Australia)

2 Ford guides so far: Ford Ranger (next gen, 2022+), Ford Transit Custom (2013-2023). Each page shows the fuse box location, fuse type and the constant and ignition (ACC) slots we have found, with the source for every claim.

Verify before you tapVerify every fuse with a multimeter or test light before tapping. FuseMap AU is general information only: fuse layouts change by model year, trim, market and options, and we cannot guarantee any entry is right for your vehicle. Hardwiring is done at your own risk. FuseMap AU and its contributors accept no liability for damage, injury, voided warranties or loss arising from use of this information.

1 of 2 Ford guides have all four core fields filled in (box location, fuse type, a switched slot and a constant slot). A filled-in field is still community-sourced and not verified. Slot counts are candidates only. Fuse layouts differ by model year, trim and market, so confirm which fuse box and which slot on your own vehicle.

Before you tap any fuse

Whatever the make, the method is the same: find the cabin fuse box, then use a multimeter or test light to confirm each candidate before you fit a fuse tap. A constant slot reads 12V with the ignition off, and a switched (ACC) slot reads 0V off and 12V on. Never tap an airbag, immobiliser, hybrid-system or other safety-related circuit.
